Unique Floral Expressions
Unique Floral Expressions is a floral and event design studio building large-scale installations and architectural floral design across Atlanta, from floral arches and ceiling work to living walls, sculptural statement pieces and tablescapes composed the length of a room.
A private club room is a fixed set of proportions, and the design is drawn to those proportions. Arches are sized to the openings they stand in, suspended work is drawn to the span it crosses, and the separate pieces resolve into one immersive environment across the whole floor.
What We Design

Floral arches, framed entries and the structures a room is entered through, each one built on its own frame and sized to the opening it stands in. This is the first piece a guest walks past and it sets the palette for everything behind it.

Suspended runners, floral canopies and ceiling installations drawn to a specific span and a specific drop. At club ceiling heights the overhead work is what a room is remembered for, and it is what turns a dining floor into an immersive environment.

Living walls, boxwood panels and full flower walls built bloom by bloom. Every photograph taken that evening will have one of these behind it, so they are composed to hold up from a foot away as well as from across the room.

Elevated urns, sculptural forms and centerpieces with real engineering underneath, drawn from concept through execution so that a single piece can hold a sightline the length of a dining room.

Meet Your Designer
Julie Coffin has spent three decades designing the floral and visual environments of Atlanta events, and she draws every design herself from concept through execution. Two rooms in the same building rarely receive the same palette twice.

Those are wedding awards for wedding work. What they recognise is scale, structure and colour held across an entire room, and a club ballroom asks a designer for exactly the same thing on the night of a gala.
Execution
An arch carries its own weight and a flower wall stands to its own frame, so the structure behind a piece is drawn at the same time as the florals it holds. What supports a piece decides how large it can be and how it reads from the back of a room.
Ceiling height and the position of the rigging points settle what can hang above a club floor, and both are established while the design is still on paper so the span and the drop of every suspended piece are fixed before a stem is cut.
Design and execution are a single engagement. The studio draws the environment, builds it, installs it in the room and clears it again afterwards.
