What We Do
Julie Coffin builds large-scale installations and architectural floral design: floral arches, ceiling and suspended work, living walls and sculptural statement pieces. Each one is drawn for the room it goes into and built as a single composition.
The pieces carry height. Suspended runners and ceiling installations work at ballroom scale, hold colour to the back of the room, and bring the volume overhead into the design. That is what turns a hotel ballroom into an immersive environment.
Julie leads every engagement. You work directly with the designer who draws the room, through thirty years of building at this scale in Atlanta.
The Work

Suspended runners, floral canopies and overhead installations that give a room a ceiling line. At ballroom height they are what a guest looks up into.

Boxwood and living walls, full flower walls, and backdrops built bloom by bloom. They photograph closely, so they are built to be looked at from a foot away as well as from across the room.

Single pieces built to hold a sightline: elevated urns, sculptural forms, and centerpieces with real structure. Julie draws each one from concept through execution.

How We Design
Julie draws every design herself, for the room it goes into, from concept through execution. Two ballrooms in the same hotel rarely get the same palette twice.
It matters most on the pieces with structure behind them. An arch is sized to its opening, and a flower wall is built to the width of the stage it sits behind. Sized to the room, the separate pieces read as one immersive environment.

Credentials
Julie Coffin has designed floral and event work in Atlanta for thirty years and holds a five-star reputation. She has built corporate events inside the St. Regis Atlanta, and across Cherokee Town Club, the Capital City Club and the Atlanta History Center.

The design credentials come from the wedding side of the studio, and they are worth stating precisely. A 2025 Allie Award for Best Wedding Decor and Design, and a second for Best Wedding Flowers. Work featured in Brides, a wedding publication.
Those are wedding awards for wedding work. What they recognise is scale, structure and colour held across a whole room, and a corporate ballroom asks for exactly the same thing.
Execution
An arch carries its own weight. A flower wall stands to its own frame. Structure gets drawn alongside the florals, because what holds a piece up decides how large it can be and how it reads from the back of the room.
Ceiling height and rigging points decide what can hang above a ballroom floor. They are settled while the design is still on paper, so the span and the drop of every suspended piece are fixed before a stem is cut.
Julie designs the environment and the studio executes it: built, brought in, installed, and taken out again afterwards. Design authority and production sit in the same hands.
Delivery
The St. Regis is in Buckhead. We design and install across the Atlanta metro.
